I've worked in technology and cybersecurity in some form for over 15 years. In the past, I've designed and built data centers and multi-campus on-prem networks. I've worked in Higher Education, Healthcare, Financial Services, and small non-profits, and I've had the opportunity to work as a consultant for clients across several industries. I've secured networks and cloud workloads, performed cloud migrations, and spent a great deal of time studying cybersecurity. As a consultant and DevSecOps engineer, I've worked extensively with serverless applications and deployments, and I want to pass on the lessons I have learned to others so they can operate securely in cloud environments. I have a passion for presenting and sharing my knowledge with others because I believe that is how we learn best- through the experience of others and passing the knowledge on to subsequent generations.
