Special Agent Nicholas G. Phirippidis joined the FBI in 2007, and is currently assigned to the Sacramento FBI field office. Over the past 17 years, SA Phirippidis has investigated cybercrimes involving the dark web, computer intrusions, and violent crimes against children. SA Phirippidis is a member of the FBI's Virtual Currency Response Team which assists with complex financial crimes involving cryptocurrency across the United States. Nicholas has a degree in Computer Science from the University of California, San Diego, and was a software engineer prior to joining the FBI.
