b. Detective Neil Baker is an active 33 year veteran currently with the Denver Police Department in Denver Colorado, assigned to the Homicide Unit. Neil began his career in 1991 working for the Littleton Police Department where he spent 13 years before transferring to the Denver Police Department in 2004. Neil spent the majority of his career as a patrol officer and working in patrol. Neil served in various specialized units such as Motorcycles, Narcotics, Community Policing and training new police officers. Neil shifted his focus in law enforcement into Criminal Investigations where he has served as a General Assignment Detective before transitioning to the Major Crimes Division where he investigated Crimes Against Children and Sex Crimes before moving to his current position in Homicide. He continues to serve this position investigating active Homicide cases and Critical Incidents involving police officers.
