Larissa Borriello is the Founder of L Prevention Advisors and a corporate investigations, compliance, and forensic specialist with more than 18 years of experience helping organizations detect, investigate, and mitigate fraud, misconduct, and regulatory risks. Originally from Brazil and now based in the United States, Larissa has built her career at the intersection of Internal Audit, Compliance, Corporate Investigations, Digital Forensics, and Risk Management. Her experience includes leadership roles at EY's Fraud Investigation & Dispute Services practice, Votorantim Cimentos, Fibria, Prosegur, and other multinational organizations across industries including Manufacturing, Insurance, Logistics, Healthcare, and Consulting. Throughout her career, she has led complex investigations involving corruption allegations, conflicts of interest, supplier fraud, financial misconduct, whistleblower reports, and ethics violations. She has also worked with forensic technologies, digital evidence collection, due diligence reviews, fraud prevention initiatives, and integrity program implementation. Larissa participated in anti-bribery and anti-corruption projects associated with Brazil's Operation Car Wash environment, supporting investigative procedures, transaction testing, and compliance assessments. She has also helped organizations establish forensic capabilities, strengthen governance frameworks, and improve investigation readiness through the integration of compliance, technology, and investigative best practices. Her work focuses on bridging the gap between Compliance, eDiscovery, Legal Technology, and Corporate Investigations, helping organizations navigate the growing challenges of digital evidence, regulatory expectations, and modern investigative requirements.
