Supervising District Attorney Investigator (Sergeant), Law Enforcement Coordinator, Computer and Technology Crime High-Tech Response (CATCH) Team, San Diego County District Attorney's Office

Justin Bostic serves as a Supervising District Attorney Investigator (Sergeant) with the San Diego County District Attorney's Office, where he oversees the regional Computer and Technology Crime High-Tech Response (CATCH) Team as the Law Enforcement Coordinator and supervises the Digital Analytics and Intelligence Group (AIG). In this leadership role, he directs complex cybercrime investigations and advanced digital forensic operations in support of criminal prosecutions throughout the region.

Justin specializes in forensic examinations, device file storage analysis, and advanced location-based investigations, including Call Detail Record (CDR), Timing Advance, and Tower Dump/Area Search analysis. Under his supervision, AIG conducts in-depth digital media exploitation and geolocation analytics to support high-level investigative and prosecutorial efforts.

Prior to joining the District Attorney’s Office, Justin served with the Imperial County Sheriff's Office, where he investigated Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) and other technology-facilitated offenses. His career reflects extensive training and expertise in digital forensics and cellular data analysis, positioning him as a trusted leader in cybercrime investigations.

In addition to his county responsibilities, Justin is cross-sworn as a Task Force Officer with the United States Secret Service and serves as a member of the Cyber Fraud Task Force (CFTF), collaborating on multi-jurisdictional investigations targeting complex financial and cyber-enabled crimes.
