Legal AI Architect & Engineer, Lambda Engine
United States
Gerry Wolfe is a Legal AI Architect & Engineer and Principal of Lambda Engine. He builds production-grade agentic AI systems that legal, compliance, and enterprise teams actually deploy and rely on. With a JD, more than 10 years as a software engineer and AI builder (MS in Computer Science focused on Machine Learning), and 15 years as a practicing attorney before that, he bridges legal practice and software engineering to deliver deterministic, auditable solutions that work in high-stakes environments. His work includes architecting and shipping tools for eDiscovery, DSAR compliance, active AI risk monitoring of client systems to ensure AI governance rules are met and complied with, document intelligence pipelines, and multi-agent orchestration. All are designed to run on client infrastructure with full code ownership. He has delivered several of these systems for Eversheds Sutherland / Konexo. One example is Evidence Thread (evidencethread.com), a purpose-built platform that ingests, agentically investigates, and analyzes large volumes of wiretap data, saving significant amounts of time while surfacing insights that paralegals and other investigators simply will miss. In short, Gerry creates specialized tooling that solves problems generic Legal SaaS platforms and general-purpose models simply cannot address alone. His research includes ReasonDB, an embedded semantic reasoning architecture recognized as Best Overall Paper at OCOAI 2025. Gerry is an active speaker and writer on practical AI implementation in regulated industries where accuracy, auditability, and governance are non-negotiable. He welcomes conversations with legal and compliance teams facing complex AI implementation, workflow or other efficiency challenges.
