Emily Bartkowicz is a certified paralegal and certified eDiscovery specialist with over 20 years of legal experience. Currently the Litigation Support Manager at Akerman LLP, she specializes in assisting clients and attorneys with a variety of eDiscovery and litigation support-related needs, including solutions consulting, forensic collection coordination, and eDiscovery lifecycle management. Previously, Emily was a litigation paralegal at the firm, specializing in mass torts and products liability. She is a co-founder of Journey for Justice, a project of the Miami-Dade Bar Foundation. She also serves as the Director of Charity for Women in eDiscovery, sits on the advisory board for Broward College's Paralegal Studies program, and is a champion for promoting alternative legal careers and paralegal mentorship.
