After 40 years in the Federal IT and Cybersecurity workforce, I have finally had time to reflect on what would have made better prepared to face the challenges in my career. My newly discovered energy is to encourage college and high school students to enter the Cybersecurity family. I am an Adjunct Professor of Cybersecurity at the University of South Carolina Aiken, CISSP, and independent contractor and lecturer. I also volunteer in many Cybersecurity areas in the state of South Carolina including on the guidance committee for CyberSC.US
