2018 Myrtle Beach Post Event Report
June 21, 2018 – Techno Security & Digital Forensics Conference concluded its 20th edition of the flagship Myrtle Beach location on June 6th after four days of education, networking and exhibits.
The 2018 conference program featured 102 sessions led by 97 industry experts under the primary tracks of Audit/Risk Management, Forensics, Investigations, Information Security, Cellebrite Lab, Magnet Forensics Lab, and Sponsor Demos. Session topics ranged from Dark Web Investigations, Bitcoin and Cryptocurrency, Voice-Based Assistants, Instant Messengers, Social Media, Internet of Things, and GDPR to Cloud Forensics, Password Recovery, Drones as well as several new software/technology demonstrations and labs. The program also included a Keynote Address on the Future of Artificial Intelligence.
The event welcomed 864 verified attendees, a 9% increase from the 2017 event. Participants came from 37 states, the District of Columbia, and from 24 different countries.
