Abstract Proposal: This presentation demonstrates how investigators can leverage Open-Source Intelligence (OSINT) methodologies, combined with generative AI tools such as ChatGPT, to build a structured investigative framework for conducting comprehensive background investigations. Using publicly available records and a real-world individual, attendees will learn how to transform scattered data into a chronological, evidence-based investigative framework while maintaining the standards expected in private-sector, government, and law enforcement investigations. Additionally, discussion on ChatGPT's limitations.
