Abstract Proposal: Too often have I seen poor and improper practices in the collection, preservation, management, or analysis of digital evidence. All too often, the initial personnel responding to an incident lack the training and preparation necessary to properly manage digital evidence. The goal today is to provide you with the core principals needed to collect and preserve digital evidence in accordance with the standards and best practices in digital forensics. This includes methods for collecting and preserving surveillance videos, images, audio recordings, and cell phone data. You will also learn tips in analyzing and presenting this digital evidence.
