Digital Forensic Artifact Research - Verifying Results for Courtroom Testimony
Abstract Proposal: The days of “Trust me, I’m an expert” are long gone and digital forensic artifacts are being challenged in the courtroom. Verifying artifacts are an essential part of the investigative and courtroom process and has become a hot topic in recent years. This presentation will provide guidelines and resources for digital forensic examiners to verify digital forensic artifacts through research and present those findings in the courtroom.
