Abstract Proposal: Vehicles play a role in many investigations, from homicides to narcotics and traffic crimes, yet their digital evidence is often underused. This session will fill that gap shows how data from vehicle systems can reconstruct movements, reveal interactions, and show intent. Through real cases, we’ll demonstrate linking subjects to locations, analyzing driver behavior, and using tools like Magnet Autokey to efficiently unlock vehicle data for everyday investigations. Attendees will leave with practical approaches for integrating vehicle-based digital evidence into everyday casework across the full spectrum of criminal investigations.
