A Consultant with the international consulting firm, Vaco, John Wallace provides client services in Risk Management, with an emphasis in IT Security and IT Audit. Mr. Wallace’s prior experience includes executive oversight of Risk Management and IT Audit functions in Fortune 500 and Fortune 100 financial services companies. Mr. Wallace also served in the U.S. Treasury as a Federal Bank Examiner during the peak of the “Savings and Loan Crisis” of the 1980s. In that role he led Financial, Operational and IT examinations of federally-regulated financial institutions and the nation’s largest banking IT Service Providers. Mr. Wallace has held the Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) certification for almost 30 years. He also holds the CRISC certification - Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control. Mr. Wallace served on the 2019 San Antonio Techno Security & Digital Forensics Advisory Board.
