New East Coast Location Announcement

Moving from Myrtle Beach, SC to Wilmington, NC in 2023

May 09, 2022 – Techno Security & Digital Forensics Conference has announced they will be moving the flagship east coast located conference from Myrtle Beach, South Carolina to Wilmington, North Carolina in 2023.

The 23rd edition scheduled for this month, May 9-12, 2022, will be the last event in Myrtle Beach. Until this year, the conference traditionally was held the week after Memorial Day, and the move of the 2023 event to Wilmington will allow for the return to the preferred June dates. The move to a new location was also hastened by the Marriott Grande Dune’s decision to no longer accommodate business events in the summer months, focusing on the tourist market with a different rate structure, which led to the 2022 event taking place a month earlier than in previous years.

“Although the conference participants have enjoyed returning to the Marriott Grande Dunes in Myrtle Beach each year, the continued growth of the event as well as recent challenges with the property, has led us to seek out a new home for the future”, commented Steve Corrick, CEO, North America of Comexposium.

Jennifer Salvadori, Event Director for Techno Security & Digital Forensics Conference added, “The decision to move was a difficult one. We had to balance finding a location that could accommodate our growth and maintain the feeling we have grown to love in the more intimate Myrtle Beach space, all while staying within driving distance for many of our attendees and sponsors. Wilmington checked all the boxes on our wish list. We are excited to have a new home that will accommodate the expected future growth for the East Coast location.”

Upcoming Editions of Techno Security & Digital Forensics Conference:

  • October 10-12, 2022, Hilton La Jolla Torrey Pines, San Diego, CA
  • June 5-8, 2023, Wilmington Convention Center, Wilmington, NC
