Melissa Maranville is a distinguished keynote speaker, author, educator, trainer, and advisor with over 30 years of experience specializing in cutting-edge technologies and methodologies for investigating human trafficking, child exploitation, child sexual abuse material (CSAM), and Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC). She has worked globally, providing training, consulting, and expert services to government agencies, law enforcement, and non-profit organizations, focusing on various investigative techniques such as criminal forensics, cryptocurrency analysis, the dark web, open-source intelligence, and intelligence analysis. In a world where digital tools pose both risks and benefits, Melissa utilizes these tools to combat child sexual exploitation while also addressing the serious issue of sexual exploitation and its lasting impacts. She frequently serves as an expert witness in cases related to child exploitation, human trafficking, and CSAM, particularly regarding social media platforms and websites. Certified in forensic investigations, cryptocurrency, and blockchain forensics, Melissa is also a nationally accredited law enforcement instructor with IADLEST. She is currently pursuing a Ph.D. at Grand Canyon University and holds both a bachelor’s and a master’s degree from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville.
