Jared Barnhart
Head of CX Strategy and Customer Advocacy,
Cellebrite
United States
As the Head of CX Strategy and Customer Advocacy at Cellebrite, I drive product development and support
technical customer needs, from federal agencies to state and local police departments. I also develop and lead
training programs to increase users' understanding of digital forensics tools. I started my career as a police officer in
Maryland at the Washington County Sheriff’s Office in 2007. In my 10+ years at the department, I honed my
expertise in mobile and digital forensics, and after 5 years, made detective. In addition to serving as Detective
Sergeant of our Digital Investigations and Forensics Unit, I also helped other departments understand and leverage
digital forensics technology to accelerate justice as a Senior Contract Trainer for Cellebrite. I was an affiliate with
the Maryland ICAC Task Force and the Maryland United States Secret Service Electronic Crimes Task Force. After
retiring from law enforcement, I served as a mobile forensics engineer at Parsons Corporation and Lockheed Martin,
before joining Cellebrite full-time in 2022. I enjoy bringing my comprehensive, hands-on experience as a police
officer, government contractor, forensics engineer, and product trainer into my work every day.
