Conference will shift to a full three-day schedule in 2024

July 10, 2023 – Techno Security & Digital Forensics Conference wrapped up its 24th edition of the flagship East event last month after four days of education, networking, and exhibits.

The 2023 event was the first edition held at the Wilmington Convention Center, Wilmington, North NC, after 20+ years in Myrtle Beach, SC. The relocation, due to growth and the need for more exhibit space, was highly anticipated by the industry and boasted record attendance.

It featured 126 sessions led by 131 industry experts under the primary tracks of Audit/Risk Management, Forensics, Investigations, Information Security and e-Discovery. The conference also included 4 tracks from Titanium sponsors, Belkasoft, Cellebrite, Magnet Forensics and Oxygen Forensics. Sponsor product demos were also featured. Panels, single-speaker, case-studies and hands-on labs covered topics including Dark Web & Cryptocurrency Investigations, Drones, Open Source Intelligence (OSINT), Cloud Forensics, Vehicle Forensics, Ransomware and Social Media as well as several new software/technology demonstrations.

In addition, the program featured a Keynote, Cyber Defense is the New Offense, delivered by Joseph “Rich” Baich, Chief Information Security Officer and Director of the Office of Cyber Security, Central Intelligence Agency.

The event welcomed 960 verified attendees. Participants came from 43 states, the District of Columbia, and 33 different countries. Testimonials:

Jeff Shackelford, Product Manager, OSForensics by PassMark Software
“I look forward to attending and exhibiting at Techno Security every year. It is one of the year's central events in the digital forensics space where providers get to engage new customers as well as visit with our existing user base.”

Joshua Woodhams, Forensic Lead Examiner, Walmart
“As a first-time attendee, I was very impressed with how well organized the conference was and the sheer amount of content that was offered. Every aspect of the conference proved to be well planned and convenient for those in attendance. Will definitely be back!”

Brandon Epstein, Chief Forensic Officer, Medex Forensics
“We love the Techno Security Event! It is always a great show with fantastic attendees, sessions, vendors, and staff. We had a ton of booth traffic and thoroughly enjoyed meeting new attendees and connecting with existing users. We will definitely be back next year with additional staff to better support the demand.”

Rich Novelli, Owner/Operator, Titan Digital Forensics and Consulting
“Techno Security, allows me to see and hear about emerging trends in the field of Digital Forensics (my specific field) without spending weeks on various websites trying to filter through the junk. The sessions are from people known and respected in the field. Additionally, I can meet with the vendors at one location and usually test run a product or at least coordinate a demo instead of watching a promotional video they provide on-line. Lastly, meeting with others in the field at after hour events or even in the hallways or a lunch table is INVALUABLE for the information, contact and just raising the bar of knowledge learned or available for access.”

Johanna Levy, International Sales, SecurCube
“The overall experience was wonderful, the places, the people, and the energy were always welcoming and positive. We felt taken care of and with a great space to promote our company and products. Looking forward to next year.”

James M. Dodmead, Information Systems Security Engineer and Forensics Examiner, Cyber Defense Solutions, Inc.
“Best Conference Ever! Industry trends, technical education, and continuing education credit in one event.”

John Graham, Director of Sales and Business Development, Atola Technology
“The team at Techno Security East has delivered another great conference for Atola Technology! As expected, we saw current customers, new prospects and important industry influencers who need to stay informed about our amazing forensic imaging technology.”

The 25th edition of the flagship Techno Security & Digital Forensics Conference East will be held June 4-6, 2024, at the Wilmington Convention Center in Wilmington, NC.
