2021 Myrtle Beach Post Event Report
July 7, 2021 – Techno Security & Digital Forensics Conference wrapped up its 22nd edition of the flagship Myrtle Beach location earlier last month after four days of education, networking, and exhibits.
The 2021 conference program was the first in person event for the industry since the shut-down of gatherings due to the COVID-19 pandemic. It featured 117 sessions led by 107 industry experts under the primary tracks of Audit/Risk Management, Forensics, Investigations, Information Security, Cellebrite Lab, Magnet Forensics Lab, and Sponsor Demos. Session topics ranged from Artificial Intelligence, Dark Web, Open Source Intelligence (OSINT), Cloud Forensics, Data Breaches, Ransomware, Social Media and Risk Management as well as several new software/technology demonstrations and labs. The program featured a Keynote Address on Protecting Your Data in 2021, and two Early Riser sessions titled Emerging Cyber Threats – The Supply Chain and Uber Resources for Law Enforcement Investigations.
The event welcomed 668 verified attendees, an impressive gathering for the return to face-to-face business events. Participants came from 41 states, the District of Columbia, and 9 different countries.
