2019 Myrtle Beach Post Event Report
June 27, 2019 – Techno Security & Digital Forensics Conference wrapped up its 21st edition of the flagship Myrtle Beach location earlier this month after four days of education, networking and exhibits.
The 2019 conference program featured 113 sessions led by 112 industry experts under the primary tracks of Audit/Risk Management, Forensics, Investigations, Information Security, Cellebrite Lab, Magnet Forensics Lab, and Sponsor Demos. Session topics ranged from Artificial Intelligence, Dark Web Investigations, Open Source Intelligence (OSINT), Cloud Forensics, Data Breaches, Malware, Wearable Devices, and Social Media to Risk Management Framework, Mobile Apps, and US Privacy Landscape as well as several new software/technology demonstrations and labs. The program also featured a Keynote Address on emerging threats and how to counter them.
The event welcomed 888 verified attendees, a 3% increase from the 2018 event. Participants came from 41 states, the District of Columbia, and from 33 different countries.
