2016 Post Event Report

June 29, 2016 – Techno Security & Forensics Investigations Conference / Mobile Forensics World wrapped up its 18th / 9th editions on June 8th after four days of education, networking and exhibits.

The 2016 conference program featured 88 sessions led by 93 industry experts and two keynotes. Session topics ranged from Accessing Encrypted Electronic Evidence, Best Practices for Legally Obtaining Data from the Cloud, Developing Trends in Cyber Information Warfare and Social Media Discovery, Collection & Evidence Authentication to Technology in Terrorism and Counterterrorism as well as several new software/technology demonstrations and labs.

The event welcomed 820 verified attendees, a 25% increase from the 2015 event. Participants hailed from 43 states, the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico, and from 26 different countries. Each year the event management team works closely with sponsors and relevant industry associations to identify and qualify appropriate professionals ensuring that they were of the highest caliber.
