As we look forward to seeing our Techno Security & Digital Forensics Conference community again in 2021, we have been continuing to monitor the COVID-19 global health situation.
We remained hopeful that developments, research and information regarding COVID-19 would provide the confidence to return face to face for the March conference in Denver. However, after thoughtful and thorough discussions with our sponsor base as well as Denver’s recent rollbacks, event management has made the decision to postpone the event from March 9-11 to August 2-4, 2021.
The later dates for the launch of the Colorado location will provide time for event stakeholders to plan more confidently, allow more time for the development and distribution of a COVID-19 vaccine and more accurate quick testing procedures which should all help to mitigate the spread of the virus here in the United States and globally.
We want to reassure and reconfirm that our top priority is the health and safety of our attendees, sponsors, staff and vendors. In the coming months event management will continue to work closely with the event property , taking into account the recommendations of federal, state and local governments and health authorities.
The staff and management of the Hilton Denver City has implemented industry-leading hygiene practices as outlined in their Hilton CleanStay program. As the event draws nearer, and as the details of what may be necessary are established, we will update the Techno community with specifics.
Until the next update, please stay safe and well, and continue to follow the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommended standard preventive actions to stay healthy and help prevent the spread of illness.
