The Cellebrite Certified Mobile Examiners Course is designed for the intermediate and advanced investigator/digital forensic examiner. This 5-day course combines the curriculum from the Cellebrite Certified Operator (CCO) and the Cellebrite Certified Physical Analyst (CCPA) Courses providing the participant with an intense exposure to Cellebrite UFED, Physical Analyzer Software and all of the core competencies associated with the examination of mobile devices using Cellebrite’s Tools and methodology. During the course, written exams and practical skill assessments will be administered. After successfully passing these exams, students earn the Cellebrite Certified Operator (CCO) and the Cellebrite Certified Physical Analyst (CCPA) certification credentials. Successful class completion results in a certificate of completion and demonstration of mastery of these concepts is one of the prerequisites for students desiring to take the Cellebrite Certified Mobile Examiner (CCME) certification examination. Students considering the CCME Certification are required to complete the Cellebrite Mobile Forensic Fundamentals (CMFF) course, Cellebrite Certified Operator (CCO) course and the Cellebrite Certified Physical Analyst (CCPA) course.

Cellebrite Social Network Investigations (CSNI) (Pre-Conference)

The Cellebrite Social Network Investigations (CSNI) course is a 4-day program designed for technically savvy investigators, digital evidence analysts and forensic practitioners. This course provides students with an introduction to social media investigations to include pre-seizure actions and basic investigative techniques. Students will learn how to create undercover accounts and use open source intelligence to gather information from publicly available information from social networks such as Facebook, Twitter, Periscope, and more. Using real life application and comprehensive instruction on legal processes (subpoenas, orders, warrants), students will learn how to identify and contact suspects. To complete the work ow, students will learn how to properly seize devices for extraction and how to work with the data that is returned from forensic examinations. Students will also learn methods to de-conflict their cases from other law enforcement officers. As course progresses, students will be exposed to tools and techniques to collect social media evidence from devices and cloud data sources (UFED Touch and Cloud Analyzer). Students will earn a CSNI certificate documenting successful completion of a knowledge exam with a score of 80% or better.
