Teel Technologies’ SQLite Forensics Class (Pre-Conference)

Thursday, June 1 – Saturday, June 3

Learn how to fill the gaps in data analysis from Android and iPhone smartphone apps with Teel Technologies’ SQLite Forensics class. Learn from expert Sam Brothers the necessary foundation and skills in SQLite analysis for digital forensic purposes.

The course enables students to understand how SQLite databases work at the byte level, the different types of SQLite data components, and the five most common locations to recover SQLite data. Participants learn how to perform report data validation, reverse engineer any SQLite database, as well as identify and convert virtually any date format easily, among other topics.

The number of apps being released in the world is far exceeding the commercial forensic tools’ ability to keep up with supporting. Learning SQLite is becoming increasingly more important to obtain and analyze what could be the most crucial evidence from a mobile device.

Students taking the Teel Tech SQLite Forensics Class receive a complimentary full license to the Sanderson Forensics SQLite Toolkit ($350 value), Andriller Software, and a free pass to the Techno Security & Digital Forensics Conference ($995 value).

This class is open to Law Enforcement and Non-Law Enforcement students.

Class cost:  $2,995

Teel Technologies' Flasher Box and Bootloader Course (Pre-Conference)

Thursday, June 1 – Saturday, June 3

In this three-day class, participants will gain an in-depth understanding of today’s most useful and effective flasher boxes and bootloader utilities to unlock and acquire mobile device memory. Applicable to both high-end Android devices, such as the Samsung S6 and similar, down to the low-end devices from manufacturers such as BLU and others that use the low-cost MediaTek and Chinese chipsets, such tools and techniques enable examiners to expand their options when addressing such devices.

In the Flasher Box portion of the class, students will gain an overview of today’s best Flasher Box tools, and install and use them to image devices. A selection of today’s most useful boxes will be supplied for students to install and image devices, and a complimentary collection of boxes will be provided to the students to take home with them after class.

Students taking the Teel Tech Flasher Box and Bootloader Course receive a complimentary Teel Tech FlasherBox Kit, consisting of a collection of Flasher Boxes they’ll be using in class as well as a free pass to the Techno Security & Digital Forensics Conference ($995 value).

Class cost:  $3,450

Teel Technologies’ ISP Forensics Class (Post-Conference)

Wednesday, June 7 – Saturday, June 10

Join the Teel Technologies’ experts in ISP for the four-day ISP class from June 7th to the 10th at the Techno Security & Digital Forensics Conference.

ISP “In-System Programming” applied to forensics, is the practice of connecting to an eMMC or eMCP flash memory chip for the purpose of downloading a device’s complete memory contents. eMMC and eMCP memory are the standard in today’s smartphones, and the ISP practice enables examiners to directly recover the complete data without removing the chip and destroying the device.

ISP benefits the examiner who faces the challenges of tightening budgets, yet wants to expand their expertise in retrieving evidence from locked smartphones. A cost-effective technique, ISP provides examiners with the same results of a chip-off at a lower price-point.

And just like with JTAG and Chip-Off, your agency can still use its current line-up of forensic analysis software to recover that ’smoking gun’ piece of evidence. No need to purchase additional analysis software.

Students taking the ISP Class receive a complimentary TeelTech Z3X ISP Kit ($275 value), as well as receive a free pass to the Techno Security & Digital Forensics Conference ($995 value).

Class cost:  $3,950
